Welcome back to the Leongatha Community House.
WOW - what a year so far.
I hope everyone has stayed safe throughout the Pandemic; it has been an exceedingly difficult time for many.
With restrictions beginning to ease we have heard a lot of stories about people reassessing what is important to them and we are happy to hear the LCH has mad the list for a lot of those people.
With the House slowly reopening we have had to change our timetable which you will be able to find on the program page of this website here. We will continue to work on our programs trying to bring back everyone's favourite workshops with the continued easing of restrictions.
We have purchased two hands free sanitiser dispensers. Upon entering the House, we ask that everyone washes or sanitises their hands and that throughout your stay you continue to sanitise or hand wash.
We have also had the House professionally steam cleaned and a deep clean has also been completed.
The regular cleaning of the House has also been increased; after every group we ask that you wipe down your chair and the table you have been using. We have spaced out our tables to the required 1 person per 4 square metres and ask that everyone please adhere to this for their own safety and that of others.
At the start of the COVID-19 pandemic LCH assisted Michaels IGA with completing community members weekly shopping. It was an extremely busy time and we would not have been able to assist all the community members we did without the volunteers that put up their hand to help, so a very big THANK YOU for your time.
I am so glad to be back in the Community House and looking forward to seeing everyone!
Thank you,
MADDIE.
