Our program for Term 1 2019 is now available!
Delivery to letterboxes through Leongatha will happen during January, but if you can’t wait, you can download a copy directly from our website.
There’s plenty of fun and interesting activities coming up, and we look forward to seeing you join in.
Please note that the Community House will be closed to all members of the public on Thursday 11th – Friday 12th April 2018 while the kitchen is replaced.
We apologise for any inconvenience and hope that you’ll return next week to enjoy a cuppa in the brand-new kitchen!
As more and more information and activities go online, people without digital skills become excluded from the modern world and all it has to offer.
In conjunction with the Be Connected program, we are seeking volunteers to help reverse this exclusion.
We are looking for Digital Literacy Mentors who have digital skills and knowledge, and who are prepared to share that with others. Mentors will work face-to-face with older people, either individually or in small groups, to help them get online with confidence. The main areas where help is needed include emails, web browsing, Skype, Facebook, using online forms, and mobile phone navigation.
You don’t need to be an IT whiz! You just need to have basic skills and plenty of patience!
Please call Eunice at the Community House on 03-56623962 or email email@example.com to register your interest in being a Digital Literacy Mentor.
