Impacts of gambling in South Gippsland – workshop

I was surprised to learn that, in the South Gippsland Shire Council area, over $18000 is lost EACH DAY through poker machines!

For the individuals, their families and their friends, such losses must be extremely painful.

In conjunction with South Gippsland Shire Council and Gamblers Help, Leongatha Community House invites all interested community members and service-providers to a FREE workshop to find out more about what’s happening around this issue.

Who’s being affected?  What kinds of harm is being felt?  And what can we, as a community, do to prevent or minimise such harm?
